Job Description

The Specialist is responsible for ensuring consistent application of planning and improvement tools and methodologies. They will maintain strategy and improvement standards as outlined in the SHA Roadmap and Strategic Plan.

  • Organize and oversee improvement initiatives, taking a lead role with key stakeholders.
  • Develop project teams, determine scope, establish target dates, and monitor outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates for service line integration and facilitate a quality of culture across the organization.

The Specialist will work with staff, leaders, and physicians to integrate best practices and standards, and model a rigorous and consistent approach to quality improvement.

  • Advocate for staff and patient safety, as well as system sustainability.
  • Travel within Saskatchewan to facilitate improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' recognized experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean improvement training/certification.
  • Licensed and in good standing with regulatory body, if applicable.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
