Produce Stocker

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Zones the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and inventory management.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stocking merchandise.
• Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.85. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
