TEAL is seeking an architectural technologist who values an innovative, collaborative, productive team environment that fosters creativity and leadership. As a core member of TEAL you will be supporting design and production teams to deliver projects. You would contribute to our design round tables. All within a work/life balance which supports a flexible lifestyle.

For a wide range of building types and sizes, the role will include these activities:

  • participate in pre-design and design processes and documentation
  • prepare construction documents and details in a collaborative team environment
  • perform contract administration for projects under construction
  • work in a team setting with a combination of online and in-person days

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • a minimum of 5 years' experience in an architecture firm
  • registration as a Professional Technologist
  • collaborative team spirit with creative problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • expertise with BIM software, specifically REVIT
  • proficiency in the production and coordination of construction documentation with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced industry
  • experience with contract administration
  • proficiency in interpreting and implementing the National and Provincial Building Codes, & municipal bylaws
  • strong command of the English language, especially as applied to technical documentation and design/construction industry communication
  • thirst for learning and acquiring new skills
