Electrical QC Inspector
Aecon Nuclear is seeking a skilled Electrical QC Inspector to join our team. As a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, we are safely and sustainably building what matters for future generations to thrive.
As an Electrical QC Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical materials and equipment on our projects. You will work closely with our Quality Control Manager to develop and maintain a cost of quality tracking system and track non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the execution of Inspection and Test Plans
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with related codes and customer specifications
- Conduct dimensional inspections, hardness testing, visual welding inspections, and positive material identification
- Review Certified Material Test Reports as required
- Perform internal weld monitoring and complete associated documentation and forms
- Participate in the development and maintenance of a cost of quality tracking system
- Track non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests
Requirements:
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline
- W178 Level 1 or 2 Visual Weld inspection (preferred)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Computer literate in MS Office
- ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear/ ISO 9001 and CWB experience
