Are you a Payroll Specialist with Accounting experience, looking for your next exciting opportunity? Do you have 5+ years experience with stand alone Payroll and benefits administration?

Randstad has partnered with a large, reputable organization in the GTA, looking to add to their growing team. This is a hybrid role offering 2 days of remote work. It is starting off as a temporary contract position but has great potential to become permanent before that time.


Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of multi-province, union and non-union Payroll experience using ADP as well as general accounting knowledge including journal entries.

Responsibilities
Provide payroll services through the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
Review payroll transactions entered into the system including new hires, terminations, and preparation of ROEs
Ensure scheduling system has accurately captured hourly employee's times
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting requirements
Prepare T4s, T4As and pension adjustments for year-end balancing
Complete statistical and employee earnings information
Administer and balance remittances to various agencies and vendors
Administer filing of documents
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications
5+ years stand alone Payroll experience
Advanced knowledge of ADP
Benefits administration
Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian payroll
General accounting experience including journal entries
