Job Description: Lab Quest Coordinator (Student Position)
- Temporary Full Time (12 weeks)
- Location: Happy Valley-Goose Bay
The LabQuest Program aims to introduce students to the captivating realm of health sciences and fulfilling health professions. It is open to students in levels I, II, III & IV residing in central Labrador, the coastal communities, and Great Northern Peninsula service areas.
We are in search of a vibrant individual for a 12-week period to oversee the implementation of LabQuest and manage all logistical and administrative aspects. The coordinator will also offer guidance to student facilitators and conduct a final evaluation of the program.
The ideal candidate should possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, proficiency in computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, completion of high school education, and current enrollment in a post-secondary institution, preferably in a health-related field. Familiarity with Labrador's diverse cultures is a valuable asset. A satisfactory certificate of conduct will be mandatory for the successful applicant.
Salary: $24.98 per hour
Hours of Work: 75 hours Bi-weekly; Flexible hours may be required
