Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a stocked and zoned sales floor, and assisting customers in meeting their shopping needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assist customers by promoting products and services, locate merchandise, and make purchase decisions.
  2. Review Workload and Prioritize Tasks: Review workload for assigned areas of the store and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient completion of duties.
  3. Merchandise and Stock Management: Work merchandise, cap bins, and stock picks to support the Customer Availability Process, complete price changes, and accurately sign merchandise.
  4. Modular and Section Work: Print, set, and finalize modulars, set features, and merchandising areas, complete section work, and ensure modular integrity, PI, and shelf capacity errors are corrected.
  5. Recovery and Zoning: Work recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and complete zoning tasks in assigned areas.
  6. Safe and Clean Work Environment: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
  7. Team Support: Assist and support other task teams as needed to fulfill customer expectations.
Requirements
