As a licensed pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing the operations of a pharmacy, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and dispensing medication.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and provide exceptional customer service
  • Practice within federal and provincial regulations, ensuring all privacy requirements are met
  • Provide counselling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products
  • Dispense medication accurately and appropriately
  • Communicate with other healthcare professionals to provide customer care
  • Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation and standards of practice

**Workflow and Inventory Management:**

  • Control access to the dispensary and maintain inventory levels
  • Review and maintain workflow queues on a daily basis
  • Identify and manage expired inventory
  • Oversight of current stock levels and medication orders

**Operations:**

  • Ensure the pharmacy reflects an appropriate image and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in financial reports and store communications
  • File incident reports as necessary

**Requirements:**

  • Independent thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments
  • Strong customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving skills and personal computing skills
  • Must be a licensed member in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
