Facilities Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our resort's grounds and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the resort's golf course, including mowing, edging, and trimming
- Operate various equipment, including walk mowers, weed eaters, and blowers
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as raking, shoveling, and sweeping
- Wear required safety equipment and clothing for specific tasks and weather conditions
Requirements
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Have general knowledge and experience with mowing equipment
- Be able to listen and carry out instructions
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
Working Conditions
- Work flexible shifts, including early morning starts during the summer
- Be available to work holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Full-time employees are scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, while part-time employees are scheduled to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
