Commercial Roofing Estimator and Account Manager

Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. is a leading commercial and industrial roofing contractor with operations throughout Canada and the USA. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Roofing Estimator and Business Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend new construction and re-roofing tender site meetings, as well as work directly with building owners to provide fast, accurate, and all-encompassing pricing for all roofing projects.
  • Assemble detailed roof replacement quotations and budget presentation reports, and continually communicate with clients, consultants, and engineers throughout the bidding portion of potential projects.
  • Develop new client relationships while maintaining our current client base, and provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; college degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years' experience in construction (roofing) estimating, with knowledge of various flat roofing systems, such as TPO, PVC, BUR, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend bid specifications and contract documents, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information one-on-one to clients, consultants, and other employees within the company.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form, and deal with problems in a creative manner.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
