About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner Sales Manager to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our Dell Alliances organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our partnerships with Dell.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Dell teams and stakeholders to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Enable Dell Teams: Work closely with Dell teams to enable them to capitalize on global open source mandates and associated macro trends.
  • Grow Dell's Awareness of Open Source Capabilities: Increase Dell's awareness of Canonical's open source capabilities and drive business interactions across various personas.
  • Deliver on Targets and Objectives: Meet and exceed targets and objectives, providing a voice of the partner and driving business results.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel regularly, sometimes internationally, to drive partnerships in person and collaborate with internal Canonical field teams.
Requirements
  • Experience in Alliance or Indirect Sales Management: Proven experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, with a strong track record of driving business growth and expanding partnerships.
  • Autonomous and Disciplined: Autonomous, disciplined, and hands-on, with a get-it-done mentality.
  • Passionate about Ubuntu Products and Mission: Passionate about Canonical's products and mission, with a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to capture customer requirements and evaluate gaps.
  • Team Player with Superior Accountability: A team player with superior accountability and customer support skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
