**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Parent & Youth Outreach Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will provide practical support, coaching, and education on therapeutic parenting skills and social skills to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outreach support to parents and youth in their homes and communities
  • Deliver coaching and education on therapeutic parenting skills and social skills
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement support plans
  • Provide case management and advocacy services as needed
  • Conduct home visits and community outreach to assess needs and provide support

Requirements:

  • 12 months previous life skills/experience or equivalent
  • Youth Care Worker certificate or Disability Support Worker certificate
  • Valid driver's license (where required)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of childhood development and ability to work in a cross-cultural setting
