Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to cut, trim, debone, and prepare standard cuts of meat according to specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for wrapping, labeling, and packaging prepared meats, as well as responding to customer inquiries in a courteous and well-informed manner.
Key Responsibilities- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare standard cuts of meat according to specifications
- Wrap, label, and package prepared meats
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding different cuts, serving sizes, and other product-related questions
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational
- Perform duties in compliance with established health and safety regulations
- Assist other departments as needed, including unloading freight and stocking shelves
- Enthusiastic approach to work with strong leadership skills
- Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends
- Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Can handle cool temperatures and heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous Meat Cutting experience is an asset
