Job Title: Senior Clinician

FIREFLY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our Children & Youth Mental Health team in our Sioux Lookout office. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in providing coaching, mentorship, and support to assigned clinicians while consistently practicing at college standards in all performance areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a clinical caseload and provide coaching, mentorship, and support to assigned clinicians.
  • Adhere to college standards and keep current with legislative changes pertinent to the profession.
  • Model evidence-informed practices and promote a collaborative team culture.
  • Support waitlist management activities and respond to general intake, wait list, and program inquiries as required.
  • Share knowledge by mentoring and coaching clinicians regarding clinical reasoning, professional practice, and ethical issues.
  • Participate in the interview process and support recruitment and retention activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical service provision in the field of expertise.
  • Progressive experience in leadership and/or clinical supervision preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, diplomacy, and good judgement.
