As a licensed electrician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in our manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
  2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to keep production on track.
  4. Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to schedule and execute planned maintenance activities.
  5. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  6. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations, with a focus on industry standards.
  7. Work collaboratively with other departments to support production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid 442A or 309A Electrician License
  2. Proven experience as a licensed electrician in a manufacturing environment (automotive an asset).
  3. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring
  4. Familiarity with PLCs and Robotics an asset
  5. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints related to automotive processes.
  6. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent understanding of safety protocols and practices
  8. Effective communication and teamwork skills
