Join our team as a Deli Associate at Walmart Canada and develop your skills in the retail industry. As a valued member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized deli area, and assist with stocking and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient operations
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain quality and safety
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced for customer convenience
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food handling, and product rotation
  • Takes orders for deli department merchandise, slicing and preparing items as needed
  • Provides assistance to front-end associates with price checks and other tasks
  • Prepares deli food orders, utilizing slicers, stackers, and other utensils
  • Keeps the area neat, clean, and organized, free of debris and foreign objects
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
