Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications

  • Stay up-to-date with changing technologies and machinery, including automated dispensing cabinets
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited college-level Pharmacy Technician program or recognized equivalent
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Two years of practical experience in a hospital setting, preferably with cytotoxic drug safe handling and sterile intravenous admixture service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows
