Full-time Snowboard Instructor position available at Fernie Alpine Resort, teaching instructor training program and snowboard improvement courses.

As a Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching guests of all ages and abilities to ski within your certification level, ensuring a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, and promoting public and personal safety on lifts.

  • Teach instructor training program and snowboard improvement courses
  • Train gap clients towards their level 1 and 2
  • Instruct and coach guests of all ages and abilities to ski within your certification level
  • Complete lesson ability reports and relevant administration forms
  • Act as an ambassador and host at various functions for the resort
  • Know and adhere to the Alpine Responsibility Code

Requirements:

  • CASI Level 3 or 4 certification
  • Dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic, professional, and strong customer service skills
  • Ski industry experience
  • Good interpersonal skills, working in a team environment
  • Physical fitness
