Shipping Student New

The Shipping Student will be part of the team responsible for shipping and building maintenance at our office. This is an on-site position, not remote.
Responsibilities- Assist in creating and maintaining shipping records;
- Pack and ship items to the survey field location or for repair/overhaul;
- Receive and distribute items arriving at our facility;
- Understand and comply with company safety policies and procedures;
- Transport equipment, furniture, and supplies manually or using aids;
- Operate a motor vehicle for pickups, deliveries, and errands;
- Ensure the shipping area is clean and organized;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current enrollment in a related discipline at a postsecondary institution;
- High proficiency in LibreOffice and/or MS Word;
- Familiarity with database entry and Adobe Acrobat;
- Ability to lift 50 lbs;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
