Role Description
As a Transportation Engineer - Project Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading transportation projects, overseeing a team of engineers and technicians, and collaborating closely with clients to craft and implement cutting-edge transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage transportation projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their expectations.
- Design and Development: Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and related infrastructure.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
- Business Development: Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to grow the business.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering, specializing in the design of highways, roads, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to be registered or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience in the design of highways, roads, and other transportation-related infrastructure.
- Proven project management and technical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, NBDTI, NSTIR, and TAC geometric design standards.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
