What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for business analysis activities on small to large-size projects. The role requires someone who can demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability, and can apply the competency in new or complex situations and guides other professionals. In this role you will be responsible for execution of all aspects of requirements delivery- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support - for changes to Business Areas and Technology.

What will you do?

  • Develop plans and estimates for completion of requirements
  • Lead the IT business analysis for assigned projects/programs
  • Impact and influence to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support of the requirements strategy at the program level
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
  • Prepare requirements for review applying various communication techniques and lead requirements walkthrough and sign off sessions
  • Identify, track and resolve business systems issues during the project lifecycle
  • Support QA in testing activities
  • Support Design and Development activities by providing requirements clarifications
  • Support Functional Support activities
  • Support the development of the end-user documentation and training
  • Work closely with the management to resolve requirements conflicts and issues between projects

Must-have:

  • Relevant college/university degree and/or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis with 7+ years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst - requirements planning, data mapping, analysis use case development and documentation
  • Knowledge of 5-7 years in Custody/Security services - Trade processing, corporate actions, pensions, benefit payments, entitlements
  • Proven experience working as a BA, in various delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile.
  • 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects.
  • Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Iterative Waterfall and Agile
  • Advanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation and proven experience with requirements elicitation techniques.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following business areas and related software applications: Custody and Security Services, Trade processing, Corporate actions, Pensions, Benefit payments, Entitlement, Cash and Payments Processing
  • Applications: Milvus, G+, TRUST, BaNCS, ISO, Viewfinder
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute -Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI - PBA)
  • Masters Certificate in Business Analysis
  • People Management experience, mid-large teams of both full time and contractors.
