Skate Patrol

Skate Patrol, under the direction of the Supervisor of Recreation and Facilities, will primarily be responsible for ensuring facility policies, procedures and regulations are maintained during public skates ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons. This position will also assist with janitorial duties within the arena.
Job Requirements

- Ability to work effectively in both a team setting and independently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities.
- Displays initiative, reliability, and flexibility.
- Ability to relate positively and effectively with a wide diversity of people.
- Experience in an administrative/cash handling role.
- Demonstrated confidence as a competent skater (able to skate forwards, backwards, cross-overs and stops).
- Ability to instruct skating an asset (knowledge of basic skating skills).
- Experience performing janitorial duties.
