We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team at ATCO. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for leading enterprise strategic sourcing strategies for goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute category strategies for all spend categories within your accountability
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, value increase, customer service improvement, operational efficiencies, optimizations, and risk mitigation
- Conduct market research and spend/cost modeling analysis to inform sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Facilitate engagement with cross-functional partners to define business requirements and ensure alignment with category strategy, timelines, and priorities
- Conduct competitive bidding (RFx), vendor negotiations, contracts, and purchase order creation and management
- Perform regular vendor reviews to drive strategic cost management initiatives
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 7+ years diversified procurement or supply chain management experience and strategic sourcing/category management
- 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing/category management
- SCMP is preferred
- Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data analytics, market research, cost, demand modeling, procurement planning, strategic sourcing, competitive RFx development and management, contract execution, and contract management is preferred
