We are seeking an experienced and passionate engineer in embedded software development processes to fill the position of Mechatronics Process Architect. Reporting to the Mechatronic Processes Lead, the candidate will play a key role in setting up a Quality Management System as well as the tools necessary for product development.
Key Responsibilities- Understand and document the software development processes in place.
- Identify required improvements, based on industry best practices such as ASPICE, ISO 15504 and/or ISO 12207.
- Identify and understand the tools required to support the capability as well as participate in the deployment and integration of these.
- Assess needs, ensure preparation and execution of the training and integration strategy for development teams.
- Conducting process reviews to ensure compliance and make adjustments if necessary.
- Collaborate with other process architects to harmonize and integrate methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, software or other related field.
- More than 7 years of experience as a developer of embedded software for motorized vehicles.
- A plus: Knowledge of the ASPICE compliance standard and/or quality management system (Iso 9001 and IATF 16949)
- Be very comfortable in an environment where the solutions are not known and where the path is not mapped out.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders, demonstrate autonomy, initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written in both French and English languages.
