Bouchier is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team for a 4-month camp dorm renovation project at the Cenovus Sunrise Site. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for executing your trade with a high degree of quality and care while meeting the timelines set out.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret client requirements and blueprints to plan work processes.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance standards and codes.
- Repair and install doors, floors, cabinetry, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings.
- Build and install door and window framing.
- Perform hand and bench work in carpentry workshop.
- Skilled in either Commercial Painting, Mudding & Taping, Finish Carpentry, or Flooring Installation.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation, OSSA BSO, or CSO is required.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous Renovation Experience is considered an asset.
- Vacation pay at 6% - paid out bi-weekly upon start date.
- Health & Dental and Long-Term Disability Benefits- eligible after 12 months of continuous service.
- RPP (Registered Pension Plan) with company matching - eligible after 12 months of continuous service.
- Employer paid Employee Assistance Program.
