Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial operations at Plastic and Paper Sales Inc. Reporting to the Vice President, this role will oversee all aspects of financial management, including government and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash flow and foreign exchange transactions
  • Coordinate annual budget and financial forecasting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end close with Company Auditors
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal government regulatory reporting and remittances
  • Prepare monthly sales reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or detail-oriented accounting position
  • University Degree in Accounting/Finance discipline
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, and analysis
  • Results-oriented with ability to set realistic goals and meet deadlines
  • CPA or enrollment in CPA program (asset)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Dynamics (asset)
