Job Description

Our engineering client is seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist to work at the Bruce Power Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing project controls functions and systems, including engineering, procurement and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.

  • Establish and manage project controls functions and systems.
  • Responsible for engineering, procurement and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
  • Analyze project controls reports, present findings and provide recommendations to the project controls team.
  • Prepare budget breakdown by package for all initiated and prospective work.
  • Initiate and supervise cost trending program and ensure total project costs are reported for all external and internal work.
  • Forecast is continuously updated and compared to all budgets.
  • Create various schedule reports and determine appropriate reporting format.
  • Consult with project controls team on schedule progress.
  • Responsible for monitoring resource loading of a schedule.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in general Project Controls.
  • 10+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling.
  • Experience in Nuclear Power or Power projects.
  • Nuclear Security Clearance.
