Job Description:

We are a well-established lumber yard committed to delivering exceptional customer service. As a valued member of our team, you will bring your experience, knowledge of building materials, and a positive attitude to provide the best experience to our customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in the yard, build loads for customers on site or for delivery, and load/unload transports or company trucks.
  • Store materials in proper locations or bins, restock bins as required, and maintain a safe work area.
  • Deliver customer orders as needed and report unsafe conditions to the Yard Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions year-round.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting, pulling, or pushing heavy materials.
  • Commitment to a safe work environment and excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Presentation skills to interact with customers.
  • Forklift experience is an asset, and related experience is required.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
