We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing diagnoses and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide person-centered care and promote patient autonomy.
- Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests, such as ankle-brachial indexes and transcutaneous oxygen measurement, and interpret results to inform patient care.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with Fraser Health's policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional care team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
