International Settlements Analyst

Job Summary
Provides analysis for implementation and improvement of processes, workflow, project management methods Applies basic theories, skills, and practices to accomplish assignments.Job Description
- Portray a high level of knowledge of International Settlements and its various functions
- Have a broad knowledge of the ADP ( Broadridge) systems, third party custodian systems
- Be able to reconcile account differences and issues and articulate to the proper channels what the issues are
- Have excellent communication skills in order to work with coworkers and internal clients alike
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Have the ability to deal with high volumes of trades to ensure settlement
- Reduce risk and cost to the firm by escalating all potential issues to management
- Be a team player who collaborates well with associates and management
- Strictly adhere to all firm policies and procedure
- Have proficient skills in Windows based products such as Outlook, Word, Excel
- Have the ability to multi task in a pressured environment
- interface with various business lines and branches along with counter-party operations teams to rectify any settlement discrepancies
- Have a strong knowledge of various products such as equities
- Be available to work a 7.5 hour day (37.5 hours per week) +1 hour break, occasional overtime required. Within North American business hours (8am 5pm EST)
- Required to know a minimum of one back-up desk
Required Skills:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- 0 – 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work independently and to solve problems using knowledge and experience
- Good working knowledge of internal trading, account and settlement systems including: BPS/ADP, CITI Velocity, DTC, etc. where required
