Join our team as a Relief Pharmacist and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all customers.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
- Process prescriptions and refill requests accurately and efficiently, while counseling patients on pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products, adhering to established workflow models and regulations.
- Operate all pharmacy equipment, including registers and computer systems, with precision and accuracy.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times, adhering to provincial regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the store to meet specific patient needs and provide eligible services.
The hourly rate for this position is $55.90. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
Requirements:- Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
- Additional qualifications may be considered, but are not required.
