We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mining Engineer in Training to join our Mines Technical Services team in Sudbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our geologists, mining engineers, and geotechnical engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Risk Management: Demonstrate an obsession with safety and risk management, meeting the requirements of all applicable safety plans.
- Engineering Support: Develop skills and abilities related to the provision of engineering to Ontario Operations, maintaining a high level of professional conduct.
- Project Evaluation: Identify, analyze, recommend, and bring into action opportunities for safety, productivity, and cost improvements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to our existing team, performing both technical services execution support.
- Interface with Teams: Interface with operations and maintenance Teams, Process Engineering and Facilities Engineering to identify improvement opportunities.
- Education: Engineering Degree in Mining is required.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to register as an Engineer in Training with the Professional Engineering Association in Ontario (PEO).
