Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physician

Vitalité Health Network is seeking a skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physician to join our team at Chaleur Regional Hospital in Zone 6 - Acadie-Bathurst.

About the Role

• Provide comprehensive health care to women throughout their lifespan, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of conditions affecting women's general and reproductive health.
• Treat conditions unique to women, including complex pregnancies, fertility and/or infertility, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Provide care to patients with cancer who are experiencing issues affecting the reproductive organs or processes.

Requirements

• Degree from a recognized medical school and residency leading to licensure in obstetrics/gynecology.
• Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
• Active member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association or equivalent liability insurance association.
• Member of the New Brunswick Medical Society.
• Privileges with the Network.
• Registration with New Brunswick Medicare.
• Experience (one to three years) considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues, patients, families, and visitors with tact and courtesy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work.
• Good work history (performance and attendance).
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values.
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.

Preferred Qualifications

• Written and spoken competence in English and French.
