Gordon Head Recreation Centre is seeking certified Advanced Aquatics Instructors to deliver lifesaving, first aid, lifeguard, and instructor training programs.

• Deliver high-quality instruction in first aid, National Lifeguard, and instructor development courses.
• Teach lifesaving courses and provide direct instruction, leadership, and program management.
• Prepare course outlines and class content.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and reports.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

• Provide instruction and leadership in first aid, National Lifeguard, and instructor development courses.
• Teach lifesaving courses and ensure participants are taught according to safety and skill standards.
• Prepare and deliver course outlines and class content.

• Completion of Grade 10.
• Current awards: First Aid Instructor (Lifesaving Society or Canadian Red Cross), National Lifeguard Instructor, or a Lifesaving Society Trainer award in any stream.
• Three months of experience.
• Satisfactory police information check with vulnerable sector check.
