Senior Project Engineer
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Ownership and accountability of the process including documentation, troubleshooting, improvements, maintenance, and training.
  • Ensure the process is capable of producing parts to print specifications.
  • Lead multi-disciplined teams to ensure successful program launch.
  • Lead development of Process Flows/ Process Sheets/ FMEA's/ Control Plans.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations.
  • Adhere to TS16949 system and applicable customer standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning by attending formal professional development seminars and conferences as needed. Conduct self-directed studies by reading journals and trade publications. Must be aware of new technologies and advances in the engineering field.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Five to seven years of related experience.
  • Ability to track data for many performance and maintenance parameters using maintenance tracking programs.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with the use of statistical analysis software and computer-assisted design, manufacturing and machining.
