Shift:
Days and Afternoons - biweekly rotation

Pay rate:
$30-36 depending on experience

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this Machinist position:

  • Programming, Set up and operate manual equipment
  • Machine product to specified requirements as defined within production shop orders, drawings and sketches
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling of large product
Qualifications

  • Prior Machinist experience required a machinist ticket would be an asset
- machinist ticket - 429a an asset, equivalent experience will be accepted.

  • Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects
  • Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skill
