A tenure-track position is available in the Department of Health, Aging and Society at McMaster University, focusing on Social Gerontology.
The Department of Health, Aging and Society at McMaster University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Social Gerontology. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline and a developing program of research.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct research in Social Gerontology, with a focus on critical perspectives on the 21st century aging experience
* Teach and supervise students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
* Participate in departmental and university service
* Collaborate with faculty members across disciplines and departments
* Develop and maintain an independent research program
**Requirements:**
* PhD in a related discipline
* Developing program of research
* Strong record of peer-reviewed publications
* Ability to teach and supervise students
* Commitment to service and community engagement
