Join a dynamic team as a Financial Advisor, Investment & Retirement Planning, where you'll contribute to the success of the branch sales team by delivering exceptional financial advice and sales results.

About the Role

As a Financial Advisor, Investment & Retirement Planning, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, establishing and deepening investment and primary banking relationships, and meeting/exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver trusted financial advice to customers regarding complex investment and retirement planning
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews for assigned customers, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning
  • Build relationships with customers, peers, and partners, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long-standing relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and provide relevant insights and expert advice to customers
  • Collaborate with peers and partners to achieve sales goals and grow the customer base
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Minimum three years of experience in financial planning and investment sales
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners
