Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  • Maintain a fully stocked bakery department, ready for business, and ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
  • Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food handling, product rotation, and expiration dates.
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and food safety and handling.
  • Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure quality and visual appearance.
  • Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
