**Job Summary:** Technical Field Specialist 1 is a key role in Magnum Services, responsible for gaining experience and knowledge in research and development, cement job design and simulation, safety, training, lab, operations, electronics, and dispatch.

We offer a unique blend of technical expertise and project execution excellence, providing primary and remedial oilfield cementing services, downhole isolation technologies, soil stabilization, and fluid services.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Gain work experience in Magnum's core service line of Oilfield Cementing, progressively working through various positions, from entry-level to supervisory roles.
• Gain work experience in field operations of other service lines, including Soil Stabilization, Fluid Services, and Isolation Technologies.
• Develop a working knowledge of technical departments supporting field operations involved in primary and remedial cementing services.
• Study and interpret cementing job execution, report issues, and assist in planning safe processes for cementing.
• Research and drive process improvement to improve operational efficiency on location.
• Interact with departments or external clients to meet specific requests, providing high-level customer service.
• Research new technology within the oilfield industry and report on findings, providing recommendations.
• Analyze data and provide reports to engineering and sales divisions, recalculating formulas as required.
• Provide engineering expertise to resolve technical problems, identifying potential improvements to job design.
• Manage project record keeping and assist in technical writing as directed.
• Develop, update, and drive continuous improvement in operational training programs and dispatch/logistics processes.
• Maintain and update technical and scheduling documentation for engineering and operational projects.
• Perform assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.
• Review and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) to ensure operations are working in a safe manner.
• Assist with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Leading and Lagging indicator trending, and Safety Statistics.
• Participate in safety meetings for operations.
• Participate in training and development activities.

**Qualifications:**

• Related or working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Petroleum engineering, or equivalent technical diploma.
• Good organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities or projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Office).
• Able to work overtime, travel, accommodate a flexible schedule, and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects, bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
• Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
