We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Dufferin Concrete, a CRH Company. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating a front-end loader in the yard for the purposes of loading trucks and production facilities on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a front-end loader to load trucks and production facilities on site
  • Perform various yard maintenance activities
  • Conduct daily and weekly plant inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant and yard
  • Load aggregate material
  • Assist with concrete block making
  • Prepare for day-to-day production
  • Maintain plant inventory of aggregate material
  • Communicate with Supervisor regarding production issues
  • Establish good rapport with drivers and mechanics
  • Train backup operators as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience operating a front-end loader (mechanically inclined)
  • Competent in pre-trip inspections
  • High school diploma
  • Valid G driver's license
  • Good communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work outdoors
