General Merchandise Associate

Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting with product location and purchase decisions, and resolving customer issues.
- Cover assigned areas on the sales floor, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Zone assigned areas, move feature merchandise to its modular home, and work recovery merchandise from other areas of the store.
- Assist with front-end coverage, communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage, and contribute to a safe and hazard-free work environment.
- Stock merchandise, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars.
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg
The following qualifications are preferred for this position:
- Previous retail experience
- Knowledge of inventory management systems li>Ability to work flexible hours
