Position Summary

The Manager, Professional Education is accountable for the education strategy, development, and execution of Johnson and Johnson Vision Canada's professional education, throughout the education continuum for all Vision key focus areas in our ACUVUE portfolio. This should be achieved through strong customer knowledge and external collaboration, along with outstanding internal teamwork with the North America Professional Affairs team as well as the Faculty, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Quality, Finance and Operations teams.

The Manager, Professional Education has responsibility for: education programming, content/curriculum creation and management, faculty engagement, integration of innovative technologies, administrative, coordination, communication, budget management, and adherence to critical functional processes. This individual is responsible for adhering to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements as well as Company Health Care Compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of Professional Education programs including facilitation, coordination and management of speakers, faculty, learners, facilities, logistics and vendors to ensure that programs are conducted efficiently, effectively, and compliantly.

• Lead Professional Education projects through application of Customer Insights and Strategic Planning to develop and implement new education offerings to meet business plan requirements. Develop measurable project plans with clear objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables. Manages priorities to ensure maximum effectiveness. Translate customer insights to the broader organization.
  • Define KOL engagement strategy, identify KOL and implementation plan for Johnson and Johnson Vision Canada Contact Lens (CL) business in collaboration with Senior Manager Activations.
  • Design, Develop and Implement activities that help drive Johnson and Johnson Vision Canada's voice in optometry schools and teaching institutions.


• Understand and utilize existing and new technology to effectively reach multiple stakeholders to engage and reinforce key learning concepts throughout the Education Continuum; optimize the education modality for the most effective and efficient approach.

• Comply with all company training, safety, and Health Care Compliance policies.

• Apply strategic and big picture thinking in developing and planning for expanded customer types and procedures.

• Achieve and maintain clinical and disease state knowledge to build effective and accurate learning solutions for Professional Education.

Résumé du poste

Le directeur, Formation professionnelle, est responsable de la stratégie éducative, de l'élaboration et de l'exécution de la formation professionnelle de Johnson & Johnson Vision Canada dans l'ensemble du continuum éducationnel pour tous les domaines d'intérêt clés de Vision relatifs à la gamme de produits ACUVUE. La réalisation de telles tâches doit s'appuyer sur une solide connaissance des clients et une collaboration externe, ainsi que sur un excellent travail d'équipe interne avec l'équipe des Affaires professionnelles en Amérique du Nord, avec le corps enseignant et avec les équipes du marketing, des ventes, de la conformité, de la qualité, des finances et de l'exploitation.

Le directeur, Formation professionnelle, est responsable de la programmation des formations, de la création et de la gestion du contenu/programme des cours, de l'embauche des enseignants, de l'intégration des technologies innovantes, de l'administration, de la coordination, de la communication, de la gestion budgétaire et de l'adhésion aux processus fonctionnels critiques. Cette personne est responsable du respect de toutes les exigences légales et réglementaires qui s'appliquent, ainsi que des politiques de conformité en matière de soins de santé de l'entreprise.

Principales responsabilités

• Diriger l'exécution des programmes de formation professionnelle, y compris l'animation, la coordination et la prise en charge des conférenciers, des enseignants, des apprenants, des installations, de la logistique et des fournisseurs pour s'assurer que les programmes sont menés de manière efficiente, efficace et conforme.

• Diriger des projets de formation professionnelle par le recours aux perspectives sur la clientèle et à la planification stratégique pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles offres de formation afin de remplir les exigences du plan d'affaires. Ãlaborer des plans de projet mesurables avec des objectifs clairs, des jalons, des exigences en matière de ressources et des produits livrables.   • Définir la stratégie d'engagement des leaders d'opinion clé (LOC), identifier les LOC et le plan de mise en œuvre pour le secteur des lentilles cornéennes de Johnson & Johnson Vision Canada en collaboration avec le directeur principal, Activations.
  • Concevoir, élaborer et mettre en œuvre des activités qui aident à véhiculer le message de Johnson & Johnson Vision Canada dans les écoles d'optométrie et les établissements d'enseignement.


• Comprendre et utiliser les technologies existantes et nouvelles pour atteindre efficacement de multiples intervenants afin d'engager et de renforcer des concepts d'apprentissage clés tout au long du continuum éducatif, et optimiser les modalités de la formation pour obtenir l'approche la plus efficace et efficiente.

• Se conformer à toutes les politiques de conformité de l'entreprise en matière de formation, de sécurité et de soins de santé.
