Role overview

We are seeking a Sr Java Azure Developer who will be part of a dedicated software team that works on critically important applications. Role includes Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot/Spring Framework in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

What you'll do
  • Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
  • Implement GraphQL APIs for optimized data querying and manipulation.
  • Participate in stand-ups, system architecture design, API development, and planning meetings.
  • Deploy to Azure cloud environments and provide production support, including Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Lead and mentor both onshore and offshore engineering teams, exemplifying best practices, reviewing code, and solving complex technical problems.
  • Extensive experience in cloud technologies, specifically Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure App Service, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Good understanding of data persistence technologies and optimization (both SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, Swagger, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins automation.
  • JavaScript experience with React Framework is desirable.
What you bring to the role
  • 9 – 12 years of experience in software development in patterns and writing clean code in a microservice environment.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot/Spring Framework and GraphQL.
  • Experience in cloud technologies, specifically azure services, including Azure MFA.
  • Relevant experience with API concepts and technologies, including GraphQL.
  • Solution Architecture experience and JavaScript experience with React Framework are nice to have.
