We are currently seeking an Inventory Administrator for our facility in Surrey, BC. The essential function of this position is to physically count both manually and electronically all product in the warehouse. The Inventory Administrator will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to help identify, recommend, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.

Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Wage: $19.25

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Clerk is required to physically count all inventoried products, including all Production, Staged, and Do Not Ship (DNS).
  • Verify physical inventory counts vs. electronic inventory.
  • Responsible for the generation of the applicable reports in NAV.
  • Formulate corrective action for inventory issues which may arise during the physical count process.
  • Organize warehouse and clean up with the use of a forklift.
  • Identify and correct tagging issues.
  • Monitor temperature logs.

Position Requirements:

  • Six months to one-year previous inventory experience.
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Problem solving and organization skills.
  • Math, tabulation and reconciliation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate party.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment and warehouse environment. Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50°F. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
  • Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills.
