Position Description

This is a contract position in our community-based pediatric practice catering to neurodivergent individuals, located in regions like Langley, Mission, Maple Ridge, and Pitt Meadows.

The role involves collaborating with diverse funders, including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools, and parents, to deliver rehabilitation services at home, school, and within the community for children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental issues.

Applicants must be registered with the RASP or eligible for registration. Responsibilities include community-based assessments and the implementation of treatment plans focusing on various functional areas.

Additionally, pediatric cases may involve adult community-based rehabilitation based on the clinician's preferences and experience.

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is advantageous
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current COTBC membership or eligibility for registration
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT experience required
  • Preferred 2 years of overall clinical experience
