Job Summary:

The Asset Protection Specialist will play a critical role in protecting Home Depot's assets and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for customers. This position requires a high level of analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations and interviews to identify and prevent internal and external theft and fraud.
  • Collaborate with store management and associates to implement effective loss prevention strategies and improve overall store security.
  • Monitor and analyze CCTV and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems to identify potential security risks and take corrective action.
  • Participate in surveillance activities to prevent and deter theft and fraudulent activity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
  • Provide training and support to store associates on loss prevention and security procedures.
  • Conduct regular floor walks and provide feedback to store management on security and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of [insert time-in-position and performance management code requirements] experience in a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Security and Driver's Licenses as required by the Province.
