Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dairy Frozen Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Dairy Frozen Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by zoning the department, rotating stock, and checking for expired products.
  • Ensure that merchandise is properly signed and priced, and that standards and policies for cold chain compliance are adhered to.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Assist with ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintaining features to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
  • Keep the area neat, clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or retail experience an asset.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
