We are in search of a kind and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team at one of our beautiful long-term care facilities, Piccadilly Seniors Community.

Position Details:

Permanent Part-Time; with the following rotations:
  • 3 days on-2 days off
  • 2 days on-3 days off
  • 2 days on-2 days off
Compensation:
Starting at $41.42 per hour + extended health and dental benefits

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents, including medication administration
  • Assess residents' strengths and limitations comprehensively
  • Collaborate with the care team and family for individualized care plans
  • Administer medications following organizational protocols
  • Provide direction and support to staff
  • Ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
  • Handle nursing procedures and interventions
  • Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
  • Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nursing Professionals
  • Graduate of a recognized nursing school
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cultural education and experience (preferred)
  • Geriatric Nursing Certificate or relevant experience (preferred)
  • 1 year of Canadian RN experience (preferred)

The selected candidate must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and any required booster doses.
