About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking Radiological Technologists, CT Technologists, MRI Technologists, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists across the province. The ideal candidate performs various diagnostic or therapeutic procedures involving ionizing radiation, following the ALARA principle, while consistently prioritizing and caring for each patient. Effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary setting and promoting a culture of safety in the workplace are key responsibilities.

About You

If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
  • Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and opportunities available in locations across Nova Scotia.
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel to other sites may be required.
  • You will have the chance to specify your work hours and location preferences in the application.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Radiological Technologist - General Imaging: $37.54 hourly
  • CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist: $39.96 hourly

Successful candidates may also qualify for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
